Happy Halloween

Colby was Tinkerbell for Halloween and was as cute as can be!  After she learned that her cousin Chloe was going to be a witch for Halloween she had changed her mind and really wanted to be a witch but she was out of luck and quickly became reconciled to Tinkerbell again once she saw the wings!  We had a great day at Mimi and Papa’s carving pumpkins!  Daddy carved a happy face on the little pumpkin that Mimi got Colby and Mommy carved a spider holding a pumpkin on the big family pumpkin.  While I was still working on the big pumpkin Colby went and got her nails painted by Aunt Jennifer with Stevie and Mickayla.  They were sparkly orange with spider webs on the thumbs – so fancy!  Then she came back in and decided to play with “guts” from my pumpkin.  She was really having a blast moving them out of the bowl and then back in.  Once the pumpkins were all done we all went for a walk to the big pond to feed the fish.  There were lots of fish and also some BIG turtles that came up for some bread!  All of the kids thought that was the best!  After that we headed home to turn Colby into Tinkerbell!  She was super cute and seemed to know it!  After she was all dolled up we went to a few houses on our street to say “Trick or Treat.”  Colby is so loved – she got two extra special treats from some of the neighbors!  One of them gave her a whole big bag of goodies including books, socks, candy, a bracelet, lip gloss and lots more!  Then Stevie and Mickayla came over to show off their costumes (Optimus Prime and a Cowgirl) and to see Colby all dressed up too.  After that we went over to Colby’s friend, Adam’s house for some more trick or treating.  Her little pink pumpkin was full to the brink and she was quickly ready to start chowing down!  After trick or treating we visited with Adam and his family for a little bit and then quick headed over to Auntie Abra’s parents house to say hi!  By this time, Colby had shed her costume and was just in tights and a shirt but they all thought she was a doll anyway!  Needless to say our little Tinkerbell was wore out and ready to hit the hay!  It was a great Halloween!!
