Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very fun Memorial Day weekend!  Colby was especially in heaven because she got to spend time with Adam and Mason - her two best buds!  On Saturday we went to Adam's birthday party at the Air and Space Center!  The kids got to make a foam airplane, do some science experiments, and ride the carousel.  It was a lot of fun and Colby really enjoyed the carousel!  Then on Sunday we went to Mason's house for a cookout.  Mason and Colby basically entertained each other - they played doctor on the couch and hid in the closet together for a little while!  They are too cute together but I couldn't get too many pictures because they were SO busy - they would come running down the hall and as soon as they got in the living room they took back off down the hall to Mason's room, over and over again!  On Monday Daddy had to work so we had a "Mommy and Colby day"!  We went to the store and got a little pool and lots of new toys to play with in the pool then we played outside in the pool for quite some time!  It was so hot outside that Boomer could barely stand it so he contrived to get in the pool too, much to Colby's delight!  It was just a fun and relaxing weekend!

 The cake had black icing on it and Colby looked too funny and was super proud of her black tongue!
