The Circus

Colby, Parnell and I went to the circus this past weekend with Auntie Abra and Adam and his family!  We had really good seats - we were in the first section of seating in the third row directly in the middle of the stage!  Next year we will have to go to an earlier showing because Colby was already a little sleepy and she ended up having a few ridiculous meltdowns, but once the show started and she got a snack she was very excited!  About two minutes into the show she started clapping and looked over at me and said, "Mommy, the circus is fun!"  It was a really good show and as always the animals are always the best party - we saw horses and zebras doing some tricks (mostly running in synchronization); lions doing rolls, standing on their hind legs, hopping on their hind legs, and even kissing the trainers face (EEK); elephants came out and did some head stands, held each others tails, and did a conga line!  It was a lot of fun!  Colby had her circus elephant from last year and held it almost the whole show!  She was absolutely exhausted after the show and fell asleep about five minutes after we finally made it out of the parking lot and slept through the transition from the car to the house and slept for about two hours total before I woke her up!  It was an exhausting and fun day for all of us I think!
