Ten Months Old

Colby is turning into such a funny little toddler! She is dancing up a storm now! We started to play the iPod for her when she is eating and she bounces up and down or rocks back and forth in her high chair. Now that she is crawling and pulling herself up on anything and everything she has an activity table and she will play music on that and dance to it! She is getting in a ton of little teeth too! She now has three fat little teeth on the top with about four more coming in up there and still just two on the bottom! She looks like a brand new baby with all of the top teeth! Believe it or not but her hair is actually growing even more now! Finally the sides are coming in and her baby mullet is slowly fading! She also looks like she has bangs because of all the new growth right at her hair line! We got her a push along toy to help her learn to walk without leaning (like in her walker) and she moves around pretty good with that. She is still scared to walk on her own, but I think she is capable of it. She stands up all alone really well now - she only falls when she realizes she is "hands-free." She is getting much better around "strangers" now too. She went out to a girl's lunch with Mommy and Aunt Abra and Dara and had a blast and even let Aunt Abra sit at the table alone with her for a little bit! That's a big step! She also had a visit from her Aunt Amanda and Karen and let them walk her around and even hold her! That's an even bigger step!! She also found her first boyfriend during Amanda's visit! We went out to lunch and there was a little boy there (I think he was 11 months old) and his name was Alex. Alex had a car stroller and rolled up to Colby and she "walked" over and they exchanged some baby talk and pulled at each other! Colby tried to climb in the car and that's where the relationship went sour! Alex did not want to share his car so they decided to just be friends! Colby has turned into a super Daddy's girl in the past month too! If Daddy is around nobody else will do! It's adorable, but sometimes I have to shoo Daddy out to the garage to play so that I can get some Colby time! She's a ton of fun!!! Y
