Valentine's Day

Colby had a very fun “Valemtime’s” Day this year!  She had a party at school which Daddy enjoyed with her!  All the kids decorated a shoe box for the holiday and each got to distribute their Valentine’s cards to all of their friends.  Then they enjoyed a yummy lunch complete with festive red applesauce!  They also enjoyed some Valentine’s themed cupcakes for dessert!  I think Daddy had as much fun as she did at the party!  When she got home she had her shoe box in her arms and declared, “I have goodies, Mommy!!”  It was super cute!  She also had a super cute outfit waiting for her when she got home from Mimi and Papa!  She wanted to “wear it on” right then!  After dinner Mike and I gave her gifts from us.  She was very excited and such a good girl – she opened her card first all on her own!  Then she tore into the bag to pull out all of her gifts!  She got little Tinkerbell fairy figurines, a Rasta Mater die cast car, a Nurse Kori die cast car, and lots of candy!  She was so excited to open her Nerds and toys!  Then she played with everything for a little while (it was so cute to see her driving her Nurse Kori car around and saying “Hello, Doctor”).  The fairies went into the bathtub with her and she even insisted on having two (Mommy had to draw the limit somewhere) fairies go to bed with her.  She had lots of Valentine’s hugs and kisses for Mommy and Daddy after she opened her gifts – she was a grateful little sweetie!  In fact, she was the best little Valentine that ever was!
