The New Year started out great in regards to weather! We got a break from the 30s and had a high in the low 60s. There was a still a little snow on the ground but Colby and I decided to meet up with Adam and his family at the playground to enjoy the nice weather! Colby and Adam had a blast chasing each other all over the playground. At one point Colby would be the leader and then they would switch and Adam would be the leader! At one point they found a squirrel and chased it up a tree and then stood on the ground watching him since he stopped on a low branch! Unfortunately it started to rain so we had to pack up, but fortunately I happened to have a big pot of soup cooking at home so everybody came back to the house for soup and a movie. We put in Monster’s Inc. for the kids and Colby and Adam were so cute sitting on the couch absorbed in the movie and laughing together at the silly monsters! It was a great way to start the New Year!
