Merry Christmas!
What a busy time and fun time! Colby and Mommy had a lot of fun getting ready for Christmas! We made a gingerbread house (mostly Mommy) and made lots of ornaments for family and friends. Colby did such a great job on the ornaments! She was very patient and knew just what to do when it came time to hand prints and putting the decorations on the trees! Arts and Crafts in school has really paid off! On Christmas Eve we all went to Mimi and Papa's house to celebrate with the Colby's cousins. She had a great time and got a baby stroller and baby from her cousins! Then after nap time that day we went to see her Auntie Abra, Miss Ollie and Mr. Alan and Toby the dog of course! She was a little grumpy due to the busy day, but she was spoiled and I think she enjoyed the visit overall. She was a good little girl and went right to bed that night so that Santa could come and bring her all of her presents and fill her stocking! Mike and I thought her face would light up when she saw all of the presents that magically appeared under the tree but she wasn't too caught off guard at all! She did have fun pulling everything out of her stocking and got excited when Mommy opened all of her gifts! She is such a funny toddler - she loves clothes!! She asked to put on almost every outfit we opened and of course that wasn't practical so I just had her hold them up to herself to "try" them out. Too cute! She got so many things and it just brought home how many people love our little bean! She is a very lucky girl! Later in the day on Christmas, Mimi and Papa came over and so did Grammie P and Aunt Jennifer! A few days after Christmas, her Auntie Amanda came to visit and she was spoiled again! She also got to go on a long walk around the CNU campus to see all the changes! She loved the fountain and made five wishes and saw a whole family of squirrels playing games in a tree! It was an absolutely fabulous Christmas holiday for our little family!! Y
